Terms & Conditions

About these terms

These terms apply whenever you browse or buy from js-fishing.uk. By placing an order with us, you’re agreeing to them, so please give them a read. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Products & pricing

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We work with a number of fulfilment partners, so occasionally a product photo or description may differ slightly from the item you receive — if that ever happens and you’re not happy, our returns policy applies. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices at any time, though this won’t affect orders you’ve already placed.

Orders & contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we dispatch your item(s) — that’s the point a contract is formed. We may occasionally need to cancel or refuse an order, for example if an item turns out to be out of stock with our supplier; if that happens, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.

Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out on our Delivery & Returns page. Because some products are dispatched directly by our fulfilment partners, delivery times can vary slightly by item — the estimated delivery window shown at checkout for each product is the one that applies.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason, without needing to give an explanation. See our Delivery & Returns page for how to start a return and which items are excluded (such as perishable bait).

Intellectual property

The JS Fishing name, logo, and the content on this site (text, images, guides) are owned by us or our licensors. You’re welcome to share links to our pages, but please don’t copy or reuse our content without asking first.

Our liability

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that’s a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or acting without reasonable care, but we aren’t liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses if you’re using our products for a trade or business. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can’t legally be limited, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless you live elsewhere in the UK, in which case local mandatory consumer protections may also apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — the version that applies to your order is the one live on the site when you place it. Significant changes will be posted here with an updated date at the top.
